I am truly impressed with Saramonic's Ultra wireless system. It offers top of its class features (32 bit float, timecode, internal recording, 300 meter range, IPX5 protection) while costing less than the DJI and Rode versions that offer less. The Ultra is smaller, with a compact transmitter that feels solid and durable. The audio quality, particularly from the mic transmitter (rather than the included lavs which are good but not exceptional) is excellent, and the unit pairs nicely with my Sanken COS 11D lavs. With the included antennae, it has superb range with the ability to stay connected at considerable distances even without a line of sight. I own systems from Sennheiser (G2), Rode (original Wireless Go), Godox, Neewer, and Hollyland, and the Ultra is far and away my favorite. The system can also sync timecode with other timecode generators like the Deity TC-1 and the Tentacle Sync. In my opinion the Ultra is better than "pro" systems from Sennheiser, like the G4. It should be noted that the IPX5 protection can only be reached by using the included wind muffs to plug the 3.5mm input. In the future I hope for replaceable batteries, but as of now there are no "micro" systems from Saramonic/Rode/DJI that offer this.
